Development work is carried out in close cooperation with our customers to optimise the items for specific needs.

SilviPak was developed with the help of Rottneros’ more than hundred years of experience and knowledge of the raw material, i.e. forest and paper pulp. A careful development process including a series of laboratory and product tests was carried out to achieve the best possible quality.

A great deal of emphasis was placed on the combination of barrier film and fibre, and on ensuring that our products meet the highest standards with respect to quality and hygiene. This, together with the fact that the trays can be heated in different ways, means that they are an attractive alternative to existing packaging items on the market.

Development work was carried out over a four-year period before the product was launched and we are constantly developing our packaging products, now in cooperation with our customers.
