Production

Print

The production takes place at SilviPak Rottneros in Sweden.

The process is simple, fast and flexible. A single machine is used for all steps in the production process. The wood fibres are moulded, laminated with the barrier film and punched in one step. This produces a packaging that is superior to the type produced using older technology. Directly after production the SilviPak trays are stacked in a pallet-cage ready for use.

Thus one step in the value chain is eliminated compared to competing products, making the production process cost effective.
