The food processing industry has high standards with respect to the hygienic and environmental aspects of production and handling of food packaging. SilviPak is approved for use with foods and has a high environmental value.

Environmental directives and laws encourage fibre-based packaging. SilviPak has a high environmental value because the raw material, which consists largely of paper pulp, is renewable and can be sorted with paperboard for recycling. The barrier film has only a minimal impact on the environment and can be easily removed.

Production approved for food

Production takes place in a sterile facility. The manufacturing and packaging processes are in line with the BRC (British Retail Consortium)/IoP (Institute of Packaging) Technical Standard. This standard ensures, among other things, that the product safety and hygiene controls are of the highest possible quality.
